The driveway I plowed through my back yard with my car.

The sinking sun casts long shadows over the pure white pasture.

An Icicle glistens off the barn roof.

After nightfall, seeing it was an unusually clear skyt, I decided to try something new.

I put the S5 pro in "M" (manual), set the focus manually to infinity (the "8"-looking symbol on the lens), set the aperture fully open, the shutter to 15 seconds, and the shutter delay to 2 seconds (to prevent shake)

 Orion guards the wintry landscape.

Pleiades  at 30 seconds. The best way to view these pictures is to right click, save image as... and view on your PC. zoom in and you will see that the earths rotation has blurred the constellations. Zoom in further an you will see thousands of stars that are farther away and less blurred. zoom in more and you will see millions of  little dots... stars you will never see with the naked eye. When I came inside and looked at the photos on my computer, it took my breath away.
