A bit of my own farming

Planting my garden
Making my plant-spacing boards

Lay out the plants...
...and in a few minutes, tada, we've got a garden! Or at least a start.

Grass between the rows makes weed control a cinch, as well as providing moisture retention.

How I wish we still had the ground to put out a nice garden.
I write and maintain a blog which I have entitled “Accordingtothebook” and I’d like to invite you to follow it. I am now following you.

As I looked at your pictures of the perspective of rows converging in the distance, I couldn't help thinking my ways of looking at things are a bit reflected in your style of photography.

Your "instant garden" inspires me!I have one planned on paper, but we don't have a single plant in the ground, and the weeds and timothy grass from the manure we tilled in are thriving. Green manure if we till it in!
